Ego Charter

Tasked with designing a response to the question ‘what is the role of a museum in society?’, I created Ego Charter.

This publication was inspired by a Goran Schilot quote which depicted the museum as granting us “captivity in our own ego” (1). I liked this comical portrayal of the visitor and so created a narrative that followed the exhibition experience of a narcissist.

This is presented as an 8-page publication which folds out to be a map on the opposite side.
